A report has come out from market analysis blog Asymco which states that Android is not helping Verizon win the war against Apple and the iPhone. By comparing sales data between AT&T and Verizon, and looking at the sales of Android devices versus and sales of the iPhone, the following conclusion have been reached:

  1. The iPhone has stolen their growth
  2. They are facing the prospect of a single OS platform supplier
  3. Android is not competitive vs. iOS
