In a first time feat for Czech Republic carrier Vodafone, their Android devices outsold those running Symbian for the first time. While the carrier may not represent a large chunk of the mobile market, what this does show is that, even in farther off regions, Android is still skyrocketing in popularity. The European market has been saturated with Symbian devices for a long time, and the fact that this has been accomplished is a statement to the masses: Android is here to stay.

Vodafone Czech Republic can probably give some of the credit to their line of lower end devices, which are allowing more and more consumers to give the Android experience a try without emptying their pocketbooks.
